ʻUlu Ke Kōmike Kumulāʻau asks, “Is this a plant that belongs in our pā māla?.” An Origin Story [Ke Kumu Lāʻau ʻUlu Mua] Transplanting [From Native Planters, p. 149-150] The transplanting of breadfruit requires careful handling. A section of root with a shoot on it must be cut out and taken up undistrubed with a ball of earth around it. This is planted in a hole in the ground and carefully mulched and watered.

Mānoa Located in the the ahupuaʻa of Waikīkī, in the district of Kona, on the island of Oʻahu, Mānoa is a place full of well-regarded winds and rains, and various trees and stuff. It is a valley, of course, this Mānoa, and has a stream that has been sadly diverted, but still flows a bit.

here be random smatterings of notes. sadie's notes create undue burden make rule clear details in the guidelines who gives permission? the monitoring committee. this is under the VP's purview, but generally speaking, I would say the Board or whoever is doing the monitoring. Queries, clarifications, and appeals can be sent to the tree committee, but enforcement rests with the monitoring committee.
